气象学专业介绍

1. 专业领域简介(中英文)

   中国海洋大学的气象学博士点于1984年被批准成立。该学科以海洋气象学为特色，侧重开展海洋-大气相互作用、气候动力学和中尺度海洋气象学与大气环境方面的研究工作，具有鲜明的海洋学科与气象学科相交叉的特点。本学科拥有气象实习台、数值模拟实验室、大气探测实验室和海洋-大气相互作用与气候实验室。毕业研究生可从事大气科学和海洋科学的研究和教学工作，也可以胜任其他高层次岗位的管理工作。
  The doctorate programs of meteorology in Ocean University of China were started 1984. The programs are characterized with distinct features of marine meteorology. Our researches are mainly focus on ocean-atmosphere interaction, climate dynamics, meso-scale marine meteorology and atmospheric environmental research with obvious characteristics in marine meteorology and physical oceanography. We have not only a weather observatory, but also a lab of numerical simulation, and a lab of ocean-atmosphere interaction and climate. Graduate students may engage in researching and teaching work associated with the atmospheric sciences and marine sciences. They can also do other high-level management work.

2. 培养目标

   具有扎实的地球物理流体动力学基础理论和宽厚的大气科学与海洋科学专门知识，能够把握相关研究领域的最新国际动态，具有在科学研究中独立提出创新性科学问题并开展研究的能力，能熟练掌握数值计算和数值模拟方法，具有解决实际问题的能力。毕业后可在高校和科研机构从事教学和科研工作，也可到气象业务部门、环保、民航、国防等有关部门从事技术和管理工作。

   推荐免试直接攻博或通过入学考试被录取的研究生。
